Lenovo and NEC plan to jointly develop Tablet PC

According to the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported, Lenovo and NEC plan to jointly develop Tablet PC.

According to Roderick (Roderick Lappin), Lai Ping, chairman of Lenovo NEC joint venture company, said in an interview, Lenovo and NEC to develop a PC, the two sides are working on the development of Tablet PC.

Lenovo is the world's second largest PC manufacturer. In July 2011, Lenovo and NEC Corporation of Japan announced an alliance to establish a joint venture company, Lenovo accounted for 51% stake, NEC holds 49 percent. Lenovo Group (microblogging) and NEC to their respective in Japan's PC business into a joint venture company, the two sides co-production, product development and sales.
