Win8 or control 39% of the business tablet market after four years
Recently, new data from IT research and analysis firm Gartner expects Microsoft's Windows 8 will control 39% of the business tablet market in 2016.
Gartner vice president Carolina Milanesi said: "For most businesses, smart phones and tablet PCs will not completely replace the computer, but in 2016, the growing popularity of smart phones and tablet PCs, companies will change their device strategy and consumer acceptance of the equipment, two-thirds of mobile workers will have a smart phone, and 40% of the workforce will be mobile office.”
